Here’s what you’ll take charge of:</p><p><strong>Craft and execute innovative strategies to drive revenue growth, ensuring Engine stays ahead in the industry.</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Drive Revenue Growth:</strong> Close group booking opportunities by presenting tailored solutions, upselling, and cross-selling additional services and features.</li><li>Consistently achieve and exceed sales KPIs, converting inbound leads into successful bookings.</li><li><strong>Proposal &amp; Presentation Development:</strong> Create and present customized proposals, highlighting the unique features, amenities, and services that align with the client’s group travel needs.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock new opportunities and deliver seamless experiences for our customers.</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with teams across sourcing, marketing, contracting, and leadership to ensure seamless execution of group bookings from start to finish.</li><li>Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth transitions from booking to event execution.</li><li><strong>Market Awareness:</strong> Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.</li><li>Be the go-to expert on presenting our value proposition in the unmanaged travel market.</li></ul><p><strong>Lead inbound lead management and pipeline processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Inbound Lead Management:</strong> Respond to and manage high volume inbound inquiries for group bookings, ensuring timely and personalized follow-ups.</li><li>Qualify inbound leads and assess their needs to determine the best solutions for their group requirements.</li><li><strong>Pipeline Management &amp; Follow-Up:</strong> Build and maintain a robust pipeline of inbound opportunities, ensuring effective follow-up and communication throughout the sales process.</li><li>Utilize CRM tools to track lead status, forecast opportunities, and ensure timely follow-ups.</li><li>Strong ability to own your business and forecast accurately.</li></ul><p><strong>Provide exceptional support and insights to our clients, ensuring every interaction with Engine exceeds expectations.</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Customer Advocacy:</strong> Be the advocate for your clients both internally and externally, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.</li><li>Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Bring to Engine:</strong></p><p>We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>3+ years</strong> of B2B/B2C sales experience, ideally in hospitality or group travel sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.</li><li><strong>Inbound sales expertise</strong>, with the ability to convert warm leads into closed deals using consultative and solution-based selling techniques.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong <strong>negotiation and communication skills</strong>, with the ability to create tailored proposals and presentations that align with client needs.</li><li>Exceptional <strong>organizational skills</strong> and the ability to manage multiple leads, opportunities, and relationships at once.</li><li>Strong <strong>analytical skills</strong>, with a knack for identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to existing clients.</li><li>A <strong>team player</strong> who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can collaborate effectively across departments.</li><li>Builders and <strong>change agents</strong> - people who care about improving and optimizing processes and will drive initiatives in doing so.</li></ul><p><strong>Tech-Savvy:</strong></p><ul><li>Comfortable and confident with <strong>Salesforce, </strong>Gong, Slack, Gsuite Stack.</li><li>Bonus points if you’re fluent in other relevant tools or software.</li></ul><p><strong>Mindset:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Self-motivated and proactive</strong>, with a passion for helping businesses optimize their group travel.</li><li>You’re ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter.</li><li><strong>Up to 5% travel</strong> may be required, depending on client needs and business requirements.</li></ul><p>The expected OTE for this role is $100,000–$110,000.</p><p><em>We accept applications for this role on an ongoing basis. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE).
