Group Product Manager, SmarterDenials

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Group Product Manager, SmarterDenials based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, healthcare workflows, and revenue cycle innovation, focused on transforming how hospitals manage and appeal insurance denials. You will own and scale a flagship AI-driven product that directly impacts hospital financial performance by accelerating and improving denial recovery. As a Group Product Manager, you will lead both strategy and execution across a suite of products within the denials domain, balancing product evolution with new expansion opportunities. You will work closely with engineering, data science, design, and customer-facing teams to deeply understand complex healthcare workflows and translate them into scalable product solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape roadmap direction, define success metrics, and ensure measurable outcomes for enterprise healthcare customers. The environment is fast-moving, data-driven, and highly collaborative, with significant autonomy and ownership.

Accountabilities:

You will own the product vision and execution for SmarterDenials, leading a portfolio of solutions that improve denial management workflows while driving measurable clinical and financial outcomes across healthcare systems.

Define, own, and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for SmarterDenials and its adjacent product lines, prioritizing initiatives based on customer impact and business outcomes
Lead and grow a team of Product Managers, coaching them on execution, customer empathy, and product craft while raising the overall bar for product excellence
Partner closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions across the full product lifecycle
Engage directly with healthcare customers and internal stakeholders to identify workflow pain points, validate opportunities, and refine product direction
Establish and track key product and business metrics, ensuring visibility into adoption, performance, and revenue impact
Support both scaling of existing capabilities and development of new 0-to-1 initiatives within the denials management space
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment from product design through deployment

Requirements:

You bring strong product leadership experience in complex, data-heavy environments, with a proven ability to scale products while leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

5+ years of product management experience, including 1–2+ years in a people management or leadership role
Proven track record of scaling mature products while contributing to or leading new product development initiatives
Strong experience in healthtech, ideally within revenue cycle management, denials, claims, coding, CDI, or payer/provider workflows
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, and design without direct authority
Experience working closely with enterprise customers and internal go-to-market teams to drive product success
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and clinical concepts for executive and technical audiences
Comfort working in fast-paced, data-driven environments with evolving priorities and high ownership expectations
Bonus: familiarity with payer logic, denial workflows, SQL or data analysis tools, or prior experience launching new products in healthtech

Benefits:

Competitive base salary range of $185,000 to $215,000
