About the role

We are looking for a Group Product Manager (GPM) to lead the strategy and execution of the PetDesk platform ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Product, you will manage, develop, and coach a small team of Product Owners (POs), fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. You’ll drive the discovery, prioritization, and delivery of impactful features, ensuring alignment with our company’s vision and goals. Your role will be pivotal in scaling our product organization and building best-in-class solutions that meet the needs of our customers and their furry friends.The PetDesk platform operates within a highly interconnected ecosystem with multiple upstream and downstream dependencies. Success requires experience managing products in such environments and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful solutions.

  • Own and evolve the roadmap for the PetDesk platform ecosystem, a mission-critical, live system serving thousands of clinics. Ensure the platform’s scalability, reliability, and ability to meet the complex needs of its extensive user base
  • Mentor and develop POs, empowering them to run effective scrum ceremonies and own the execution of their plans. Identify team needs and lead hiring efforts to attract top talent
  • Collaborate closely with UX, including managing the discovery process, defining research priorities, and coordinating cross-functional efforts for in-clinic user observation, feedback, and validation
  • Drive discovery of new features and enhancements by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing data, and understanding customer pain points
  • Facilitate stakeholder sessions to align priorities, share progress, and address concerns, ensuring team transparency and buy-in
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality
  • Define and track key success metrics, leveraging data to inform decisions and measure the impact of product initiatives
  • Stay informed about trends in the pet care industry, SaaS, and product management to keep PetDesk at the forefront of innovation


About You:
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing and developing teams in a SaaS
  • Proven success in launching and scaling mobile-first products and/or platform ecosystems.
  • Exceptional coaching and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, grow, and retain high-performing teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Adept at using data to drive decisions and evaluate product performance
  • A genuine enthusiasm for pets and the veterinary industry, with a commitment to delivering solutions that enhance their lives

$155,000 - $165,000 a year
