Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist

The Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist will create professional visual and multimedia content that supports communication, outreach, and engagement initiatives. This role requires strong creative execution, attention to detail, and the ability to translate strategic messages into accessible and visually compelling materials.

• Design and produce high-quality graphics, publications, presentations, videos, brochures, websites, and other multimedia assets.
• Develop creative materials that support outreach campaigns, stakeholder communications, events, and branding initiatives.
• Translate complex concepts and program messaging into clear, engaging visual solutions.
• Create communication products including case studies, infographics, promotional materials, and briefing decks.
• Edit and produce multimedia content aligned with established branding guidelines and digital communication strategies.
• Collaborate with communications teams and stakeholders to develop effective visual storytelling approaches.
• Ensure all designed materials meet accessibility standards, including Section 508 requirements.
• Support visual content needs across websites, social media platforms, events, and digital channels.
• Apply creative problem-solving skills to meet evolving communication needs and project priorities.
• Incorporate client feedback and quickly implement revisions while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented designer with experience producing multimedia content for complex organizations and communication initiatives. This professional should have strong technical design skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design and multimedia production.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing professional graphic design and multimedia work, preferably supporting government or public-sector projects.
• Experience creating digital and print materials, presentations, videos, and visual communication assets.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards is preferred.
• Experience supporting complex projects, organizational initiatives, or transformation efforts is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required government suitability or public trust clearance.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
