This role blends hands‑on development, operational GIS analysis, and stakeholder support in secure DOE/NNSA environments.</div><div data-ogsc="black"><strong data-ogsc="">Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li data-ogsc="black">Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, Survey123</li><li data-ogsc="black">Build dashboards, story maps, and analytical products for NA‑40 emergency operations</li><li data-ogsc="black">Develop custom solutions using Python, JavaScript, ArcPy, ArcGIS SDKs</li><li data-ogsc="black">Maintain and enhance existing applications, including testing and bug fixes</li><li data-ogsc="black">Support data analysis related to emergency preparedness and response</li><li data-ogsc="black">Deliver training and user support for GIS tools and dashboards</li></ul><div data-ogsc="black"><strong data-ogsc="">Required Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li data-ogsc="black">Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li data-ogsc="black">Minimum 3–5 years GIS application development experience</li><li data-ogsc="black">Experience with at least two programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#, Java)</li><li data-ogsc="black">Strong understanding of geospatial analysis, cartography, and data management</li><li data-ogsc="black">Experience in emergency management or national security environments preferred</li><li data-ogsc="black">Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (active TS/Q preferred)</li></ul><div data-ogsc="black"><strong data-ogsc="">Work Location</strong></div><ul><li data-ogsc="black">Hybrid; on‑site support required minimum two days per week (Locations include Washington, DC; Albuquerque, NM; Germantown, MD; or Denver, CO)</li></ul><p></p><p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-teams="true">Many of DSA's positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
