At Medley, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, no matter what language they speak at home. Medley is a digital tool that helps multilingual learners by adding just-right supports to the texts and assignments they already encounter in school. With Medley, students can click on any word to get student-friendly definitions, visuals, audio, and examples; adjust the reading level of a text; access side-by-side translations; hear passages read aloud; and get writing help like sentence starters and word banks. For teachers, Medley lightens the load by automatically adapting classroom materials based on each student’s English proficiency and home language, without needing to rewrite lessons from scratch.
By making academic content more accessible, Medley helps multilingual learners fully participate in core subjects like science, history, and language arts — areas where they too often fall behind simply because the materials weren’t designed with them in mind. Schools can customize Medley to fit their students' needs and ensure they get the right support level at the right time.
