You’ll develop new features, squash bugs, and make meaningful improvements to a complex <strong>TypeScript/React/Redux</strong> codebase — all with an eye toward delivering real value to our users: homebuilders designing real homes for real people.</p><p>We're a remote-first team; this role can sit anywhere in the continental US.</p><hr><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li><strong>Build features:</strong> Implement user-facing functionality that helps homebuilders design, customize, and visualize homes faster and more accurately</li><li><strong>Fix bugs and edge cases:</strong> Chase down tricky bugs and unexpected behavior in a large, real-world production system</li><li><strong>Improve the codebase:</strong> Refactor and evolve a mature React + TypeScript codebase to make it more maintainable, efficient, and friendly for future contributors</li><li><strong>Collaborate across disciplines:</strong> Work closely with engineering teammates, product managers, and customer success to ensure what you ship is grounded in real-world user needs</li><li><strong>Test with purpose:</strong> Write tests that increase confidence and prevent regressions</li><li><strong>Grow and elevate:</strong> Contribute to a team culture that values curiosity, pragmatism, and thoughtful improvement</li></ul><hr><h3>About You</h3><p>You’re a pragmatic engineer who takes pride in delivering solid features to real users — and you care about the craft of building software that’s maintainable and resilient. You like working in a mature, complex codebase and improving it as you go. You enjoy debugging just as much as building new things — because both lead to better outcomes for your users.</p><p>You might not be an expert (yet) in geometric modeling — things like meshes, BReps, or NURBS — but you're curious. If you just researched some of those and got even more excited about this opportunity, you're our kind of developer.</p><p>You also have:</p><ul><li><strong>3+ years</strong> of experience building production web applications</li><li>Solid skills in <strong>TypeScript</strong>, <strong>React</strong>, and <strong>Redux</strong></li><li>Experience working in and improving large front-end / full-stack codebases</li><li>Interest in 3D graphics, visual tools, or design software (bonus if you’ve worked with WebGL or WebGPU)</li><li>A user-focused mindset: you care about the impact your work has on real people</li><li>Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit</li></ul><p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Higharc has been remote first since our founding in 2018.
