Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Engineer in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and New York (USA).

This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and scale innovative AI-powered products that directly impact consumer brands’ marketing operations. You will work across front-end and back-end systems, ensuring seamless integration between APIs, databases, UIs, and machine learning services. The position provides ownership over feature development, architecture decisions, and mentoring peers, in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve rapidly. Ideal candidates are hands-on engineers with a strong product mindset, technical versatility, and experience in integrating AI/ML models into production systems. This role also offers equity participation, exposure to high-growth consumer brands, and the chance to shape engineering culture from the ground up.

Accountabilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack features, including database schemas, APIs, and React components.
• Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs, data pipelines, and distributed services.
• Integrate, prompt, and debug LLMs and generative AI tools; manage retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or fine-tuning pipelines.
• Ensure front-end and back-end systems interoperate efficiently, minimizing friction and optimizing data flow.
• Collaborate with product, research, design, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, iterate rapidly, and deliver production-grade code.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, and security; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, architecture reviews, and sharing best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering with end-to-end ownership.
• Deep expertise in Python, Node.js, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and high-traffic system design.
• Proven ability to integrate AI/ML models (LLMs, NLP, RAG) into production applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a product mindset, balancing technical details and end-user experience.
• Familiarity with or strong interest in MCP servers and AI/ML infrastructure workflows.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with multi-step or agentic AI workflows.
• Background in AI infrastructure or tooling companies.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
