This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Engineer III (with WordPress expertise) in US.

This role offers an opportunity to work remotely on advanced frontend and backend systems while contributing to high-impact digital products. You will apply full-stack expertise to design, develop, and optimize applications, ensuring robust performance and scalability. The position emphasizes mentorship, technical leadership, and collaboration across teams, helping improve code quality, processes, and delivery timelines. Ideal candidates have experience with WordPress, NextJS, AWS, and relational databases, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and globally distributed environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within the EST timezone are essential.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of frontend and backend systems with a focus on innovative solutions
  • Optimize performance across the full technology stack
  • Create and maintain reusable components and services
  • Plan and execute complex assignments independently while contributing to overall project goals
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration
  • Contribute to improving code quality, processes, and project delivery timelines
Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience in a team environment
  • Proficiency with WordPress as a CMS
  • Strong skills in full-stack technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, NextJS, and AWS
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Strong understanding of software development at scale and a product mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in EST timezone
  • Positive references from previous managers or teammates
  • College degree is a plus
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with GCP
  • Experience with internationalization and localization
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
