This role offers the opportunity to build and maintain high-performance, content-driven web experiences for a global audience. You will work across the full stack, developing scalable front-end components in React and Next.js, and integrating them with content management systems for international markets. The position involves close collaboration with designers, marketers, and product teams, delivering solutions that are fast, accessible, and SEO-optimized. You will contribute to technical planning, code reviews, and agile development processes while monitoring performance and troubleshooting production issues. This role is ideal for someone passionate about web technologies, internationalized content, and creating polished digital experiences. It offers remote flexibility while requiring collaboration during Pacific Standard Time business hours.


Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack web features for US and EU market websites
  • Build React-based front-end components emphasizing performance, accessibility, and responsiveness
  • Integrate and manage Contentful CMS workflows, including multi-language content, API connections, and localization
  • Develop server-side rendered (SSR) pages using Next.js for fast load times, SEO optimization, and scalable architecture
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams to translate wireframes and specifications into production-ready web experiences
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality development
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page performance, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Document technical implementations, component libraries, and workflow integrations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional full stack web development experience
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, state management, and component architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router)
  • Experience with Contentful CMS, including content modeling, API integration (REST/GraphQL), and localization
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive/mobile-first design principles
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
  • Strong understanding of web performance best practices and SEO fundamentals
  • Preferred: experience with automotive or consumer brand websites, EU web regulations (GDPR, WCAG 2.1), CI/CD pipelines (Vercel, AWS), Node.js back-end development, and analytics or A/B testing tools
