Full Stack Engineer

About Us: Artera is an AI startup that develops medical artificial intelligence tests to personalize therapy for cancer patients. Artera is on a mission to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale.

As a Full Stack Engineer at Artera, you’ll develop web applications used by clinicians to make better decisions for cancer treatment. You’ll be responsible for the whole stack: front-end, back-end, and infrastructure development as you work closely with fellow full-stack engineers, machine learning engineers, platform engineers, and product team members to develop platforms serving an increasing number of cancer tests serving new cancer areas and countries.

Essential Responsibilities:

Design and develop the backend and frontend for Artera’s Distribution Platforms which use AI to provide clinical decision support to oncologists
Work closely with members of our Product, AI and Clinical Development teams to understand the needs of different stakeholders and develop platforms and features to
Conduct code reviews and maintain a high bar for code testability, scalability, and maintainability across our codebase.

Experience Requirements:

5+ years of Python and React experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
Experience with Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc)
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Growth mindset and a strong sense of ownership

Desired:

Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis
Experience working with health care data
Knowledge of flutter or willingness to learn the basics
Eastern or Central time zone

$170,000 - $220,000 a year

In addition to base salary, equity is a core component of our compensation. We also offer 401k matching, unlimited paid time off (PTO), and more.

The base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other factors to be discussed during the interview process.
