Full Stack Developer (Remote - US)

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to modernizing critical government web applications. The Full Stack Developer will work on both front-end and back-end development, implementing modern frameworks and microservices architectures to enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, translating requirements into functional applications and ensuring robust code quality. This position allows for remote work while contributing to projects that have meaningful impact on government modernization initiatives. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using React for the front end and Node.js for the back end.
• Implement containerization technologies and microservices architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable applications.
• Translate customer requirements into user stories and deliver features at the conclusion of each sprint.
• Develop modular backend APIs and services with performance optimization in mind.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and team meetings to maintain coding standards and collaboration.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and quality.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with React JavaScript and Node.js.
• At least 1 year experience with relational database systems and PL/SQL.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes (K8s).
• Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as GitLab or Bitbucket.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Preferred: experience with Go/GoLang, OpenLayers v8+, MapBox Tippecanoe, GeoServer, Oracle 19c or newer, and Redis.
