This is a high-impact role where you will design, build, and maintain critical systems that connect complex platforms and enterprise software. You will work on secure data exchange, APIs, integrations, and modern web applications while ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability. The role offers significant autonomy to influence architecture, technical direction, and engineering standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in dynamic enterprise and healthcare environments, applying best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding. This is an opportunity to shape software that directly improves access, communication, and operational efficiency for users worldwide.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integration workflows for enterprise and healthcare systems
  • Build modern web applications using Angular, React, or comparable frameworks
  • Implement secure data exchange workflows across endpoints and integrated systems, handling sensitive information with care
  • Maintain automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support for high-reliability systems
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical problem solving
  • Mentor engineers, elevate technical standards, and review code for quality and maintainability
  • Participate in incident response, system monitoring, and operational improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including SaaS or integration-heavy systems
  • Strong backend development skills in C# and .NET 8+
  • Experience designing and supporting APIs, service-to-service communications, and secure integration workflows
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) or similar structured data formats
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React
  • Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of event-driven or asynchronous system design, including messaging and distributed systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving ability, and commitment to code quality
  • Preferred: experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner), HIPAA compliance, cloud infrastructure, and observability tooling

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Health insurance including dental coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO)
  • Real ownership and influence over systems and engineering direction
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to work on projects that impact access to care and communication globally
