Who You Are
Required Skills (Must Have)
- Battle-Tested Frontend Warrior – 2-3 years professional React development experience, preferably in AI/ML or early-stage startups
- JavaScript/TypeScript Fluency – Strong expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, with ES6+ features and strong typing as part of your craft
- Animation & Styling Master – Proficiency with Framer Motion for animations and micro-interactions, plus Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling
- Data Visualization Maestro – Experience with Chart.js, Recharts, or similar libraries to turn data into compelling visual stories
- State Management Pro – Experience with React Query or similar server state management solutions
- Mobile-First Developer – Strong responsive design and mobile-first development principles
- Full-Stack Aware – Basic Python knowledge (ability to read and understand code) to bridge frontend and backend effectively
- Startup Veteran – Must have previous experience working in early-stage startup environments
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- AI/ML Startup Background – Direct experience in AI/ML startups or exposure to AI/ML product development
- Real-Time Integration – WebSocket integration experience for real-time data handling
- Advanced Graphics – Canvas/WebGL graphics experience (Konva, Three.js) for complex visualizations
- Enterprise Tooling – Monorepo experience (Turborepo, Lerna, Nx) and Storybook for component documentation
- State Machine Thinking – Experience with XState or similar state management approaches
- Backend Dabbling – FastAPI or Python web framework knowledge
- Database Basics – Basic MySQL knowledge for data-driven applications
- Cloud Experience – AWS services experience (S3, CloudFront)

Note: This hybrid position requires monthly travel to the Bay area or Seattle for in-person team meetings.
