We've raised $20M from world-class investors like Pear VC, Acrew Capital, and the founders of Robinhood and Plaid. Our product has grown from 0 to dozens of multi-billion dollar financial institutions in <2 years, we've 4x'ed revenue since launching, and currently serve millions of end users across the country.
We are reimagining the banking experience from the ground up, and we are looking for a Founding Recruiter who can turn that story into an alluring talent magnet.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to build Glide’s talent function from scratch. You’ll partner directly with the founders and leadership team to design and own our hiring strategy, processes, and employer brand as we scale rapidly across engineering, product, design, and go-to-market roles.
You’ll be both strategic and hands-on — setting the vision for how Glide hires while personally driving critical senior and high-impact hires. The work you do will directly shape our culture, velocity, and long-term success.
What you’ll do:
Own end-to-end recruiting for Glide, from workforce planning and role design to sourcing, closing, and onboarding
Partner closely with founders and leaders to understand hiring needs and advise on org design and talent strategy
Build scalable recruiting processes, tools, and best practices from the ground up
Source and close exceptional candidates across engineering, product, design, and GTM roles
Develop Glide’s employer brand and candidate experience
Act as a trusted talent advisor to leadership as the company doubles in size
Lay the foundation for a future recruiting team as Glide continues to scale
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
Have 5-10+ years of recruiting experience, ideally including early-stage or high-growth startups
Have hired across technical and non-technical roles and are comfortable recruiting senior talent
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and enjoy building from zero
Are deeply hands-on and excited to personally own critical searches
Have strong judgment, empathy, and the ability to influence stakeholders
Care deeply about candidate experience and long-term culture building
What will make you stand out:
Experience as a founding or early in-house recruiter at a Seed – Series B company
Early adopter of new recruiting technologies to create leverage for yourself and your team
A strong network of top engineering, product, and GTM talent
Experience partnering directly with founders or executive teams
A track record of building recruiting processes that scale without slowing teams down
Passion for fintech, AI, or mission-driven products
