Why Central?

We’re on a mission to eradicate business bullshit so founders can fly.

Building a company is still way too hard. Founders still have to register in multiple states to run payroll, set up workers' compensation, pay various payroll-related taxes, deal with intimidating government mail, update addresses across state filings, and troubleshoot with insurance companies.

About the role

As Central's founding account executive and evangelist, you'll own the entire sales process and help scale Central to 500 companies.

What you’ll do

  • Prospect, qualify, close and onboard 36+ customers/month

    • Outbound to target accounts to drive pipeline

    • Master the product and competitive landscape

    • Serve as a consultant and give advice on best practices

    • Hand-off to operations to complete onboarding new customers

  • Own and improve Central's sales process and tooling

  • Post daily on Twitter and Linkedin to showcase industry knowledge and evangelize Central

  • Deliver monthly forecast sales reports that are 90% accurate

  • Obtain health insurance broker certification in key states

  • Capture and share objections, feature gaps and notes from prospects with the rest of the team

Who you are

  • Must haves

    • Minimum 1-3 years' experience as an full cycle SMB account executive at a seed or Series A SaaS startup, consistently closing high-volume deals

    • Experience hitting a $400K+ annual quota

    • Previously held an SDR role or equivalent position

  • Personality/Behavioral

    • Thrive in unstructured environments

    • Clear and confident communicator

    • Coachable with a strong desire to learn

    • Excited about helping startup founders / SMB owners

  • Bonus

    • Former founder and/or founding account executive

    • Experience at a hyper growth startup

    • Subject matter experience (HR, payroll, benefits, etc)

    • Great Linkedin/Twitter presence

    • Can work in Pacific timezone
