Overview

The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in transforming how financial and operational data is used across the company. In a fast-growing startup environment where information is often fragmented, this role will take ownership of gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to produce reliable, decision-ready insights.

The analyst will support financial planning and analysis processes—including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling—while building scalable reporting and KPI frameworks that improve visibility in business performance. By transforming data into clear insights, this role will enable leadership to focus on optimizing strategy, resource allocation, and company performance.

In addition, the role will support select finance operations, including oversight of accounts payable processes and participation in lightweight cross-functional operational tasks, helping reduce day-to-day execution burden while maintaining strong financial discipline.

Here’s what you’ll do

  •  Financial Planning & Analysis. Support the update and maintenance of the company's FP&A model. Perform monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. plan) and identify key drivers and actionable insights.
  •  Business Performance Evaluation. Analyze key business metrics such as revenue growth, CAC, LTV, and margin to evaluate performance. Partner with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Product to evaluate initiatives and improve ROI.
  •  Strategic Decision Support. Translate financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership. Support strategic projects such as pricing, cost optimization, and growth initiatives.
  •  Data, Reporting & Infrastructure. Take ownership of gathering, cleaning, and structuring data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and usability. Build and maintain scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPI tracking systems.
  •  Standardization & Automation. Standardize recurring reports and improve the speed and quality of business insights. Identify opportunities to automate and streamline data workflows.
  •  Revenue & Unit Economics Analysis. Conduct cohort analysis, retention tracking, and unit economics evaluation. Monitor and improve visibility into key SaaS metrics and performance drivers.
  •  Accounts Payable & Finance Operations. Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure timely, accurate, and well-controlled expense management. Review and monitor company spending. Identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.
  •  Cross-Functional Support. Act as a finance partner to various teams, providing data-driven support for day-to-day and strategic decisions. Respond to business inquiries with structured analysis and clear recommendations. Help improve information flow and data transparency across the organization.
