<h2>About the Role</h2><p>Abnormal AI is looking for a <strong>Finance Manager, G&amp;A</strong> to join our FP&amp;A team and partner closely with leaders across <strong>Legal, People, IT, Finance, and other G&amp;A functions</strong>. You’ll help scale the financial operating model for these teams, serving as both a <strong>strategic thought partner and executional anchor</strong> as we continue to grow. This is a <strong>builder’s role</strong>—ideal for someone who loves diving into the details, shaping the process from the ground up, and influencing decisions through storytelling with data.</p><p>You’ll work alongside our Corporate Finance Leader in a role that blends <strong>FP&amp;A rigor with operational pragmatism</strong>. Your insights will inform critical headcount and investment decisions, while your models and reporting will shape how we run the business. <strong>Success in this role requires comfort with iteration, a bias toward action, and a willingness to refine as you go.</strong></p><h2>What you will do&nbsp;</h2><ul><li>Act as a <strong>finance business partner</strong> to G&amp;A leaders, supporting budget creation, headcount planning, forecasting, and monthly close deliverables</li><li>Partner with Legal, People, IT, and Finance to understand their strategic goals—and help them <strong>model scenarios, evaluate trade-offs, and make better decisions faster</strong><strong><br></strong></li><li>Translate complex data into <strong>clear, actionable narratives</strong> for executive stakeholders; your work should not only inform but persuade</li><li>Create and iterate on key dashboards and performance metrics, with an eye toward <strong>automation and scalability</strong><strong><br></strong></li><li>Support <strong>annual and quarterly planning cycles</strong>, collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Systems, and the broader Finance team</li><li>Embrace <strong>feedback and rework</strong> as part of the process—especially when refining work for our CPO, CIO, and CLO. </li><li>Champion an <strong>AI-enabled finance workflow</strong>—leveraging tools and experimenting with new methods to drive speed and clarity</li><li>Foster a culture of <strong>no ego, just impact</strong>, prioritizing transparency, operational excellence, and clarity over perfection</li></ul><h2>Must Haves&nbsp;</h2><ul><li><strong>8+ years of FP&amp;A experience</strong>, with a strong track record supporting G&amp;A or corporate functions</li><li>Proven ability to <strong>operate independently</strong> in lean, high-growth environments—this is a <strong>build + do</strong> role</li><li>Strong financial acumen across <strong>budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and executive reporting</strong><strong><br></strong></li><li>Excellent stakeholder management skills—able to collaborate across <strong>Legal, People, IT, and Finance</strong> with ease and empathy</li><li>Experience translating data into decision-ready narratives and making financial concepts <strong>digestible for non-finance leaders</strong><strong><br></strong></li><li>Strong modeling and systems skills (Excel, Google Sheets; bonus: Pigment, Workday Adaptive, Looker, etc.)</li><li>A mindset of <strong>curiosity, humility, and iteration</strong>—you seek feedback, ask smart questions, and adapt quickly</li><li>Comfortable with <strong>remote work norms</strong>—especially async communication, clarity in updates, and proactive follow-through</li></ul><h2>Nice to Have&nbsp;</h2><ul><li>Interest or experience in applying <strong>AI tools</strong> to streamline finance workflows</li><li>Passion for&nbsp;<strong>AI in finance</strong> and a track record of identifying ways to reduce manual work through tooling</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#LI-AW1</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><hr><p><br>At Abnormal AI, certain roles are eligible for a bonus, restricted stock units (RSUs), and benefits.
