This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience within a fast-paced Finance organization supporting global operations. You will be exposed to key financial processes including order bookings, billing, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition, contributing directly to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure smooth transaction flows from sales orders to payment collection while learning how finance functions operate in a high-growth, technology-driven environment. This role is ideal for students eager to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting while building strong foundational skills in corporate finance and accounting. You will gain exposure to tools such as CRM and ERP systems while strengthening analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Accountabilities:- Support worldwide sales order bookings by reviewing purchase orders and ensuring accuracy for revenue recognition processes.
- Assist in accounts receivable activities, including contacting customers, reconciling accounts, and supporting payment resolution inquiries.
- Contribute to billing and revenue recognition processes for professional services and related financial transactions.
- Help ensure timely invoice delivery and follow up on outstanding payments to support cash flow efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer teams to resolve order, billing, and payment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records in financial systems and support CRM updates for bookings and accounts tracking.
- Assist the AR Collections team and Revenue team, with a primary focus on collections and supporting revenue-related activities.
- Participate in process improvements and support cross-functional finance initiatives.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week during the summer and continue part-time during the academic year.
- Strong interest in finance operations, accounting processes, or corporate finance environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and strong accuracy in handling financial data and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, especially during month-end and quarter-end periods.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Salesforce or ERP tools such as NetSuite.
