This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field Technical Support Lead in United States.

This role is a highly mobile, field-based technical leadership position focused on supporting dealership networks with advanced diagnostic expertise and escalated service issues. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, stepping into complex motorcycle troubleshooting scenarios and providing hands-on resolution guidance in the field. The position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance, particularly in high-stakes cases such as warranty disputes and legal claims. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, training, and field operations teams to surface insights and improve service outcomes. With extensive travel and direct dealer engagement, this role requires strong technical depth, communication excellence, and the ability to operate independently in dynamic environments. It is ideal for a seasoned technician who thrives in field problem-solving and enjoys representing technical excellence at the point of service.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide advanced technical support to dealerships by resolving escalated motorcycle diagnostic and service issues in the field.
  • Conduct hands-on inspections of customer and dealership motorcycles to evaluate technical concerns and root causes.
  • Perform pre- and post-litigation inspections related to warranty and lemon law claims, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Deliver expert guidance and coaching to dealership service teams on best practices and diagnostic procedures.
  • Lead and support technical training sessions focused on service quality and consumer affairs standards.
  • Utilize industry-standard diagnostic tools and methodologies to resolve complex product issues efficiently.
  • Document all field findings clearly and communicate insights to engineering, product, and field operations teams.
  • Provide recommendations on product quality improvements based on field data and observations.
  • Serve as a technical representative in customer dispute and legal claim situations requiring expert input.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education in motorcycle repair or diagnostics strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in motorcycle diagnostics, OEM service operations, or equivalent technical field roles.
  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and servicing motorcycles across multiple models and systems.
  • Recognition within structured technical certification programs (e.g., technician-level certifications) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to handle sensitive and complex conversations.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in field-based environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage high-pressure technical escalations.
  • Valid driver’s license and motorcycle license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 90%).
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail in technical reporting.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of 87,600–135,700 USD depending on experience and location.
  • Annual bonus eligibility as part of a comprehensive compensation package.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Employee discounts on products, accessories, and branded merchandise.
  • Access to onsite fitness centers and wellness resources (where available).
  • Inclusive workplace culture focused on diversity, equity, and belonging.
  • Domestic relocation assistance (if applicable).
  • Flexible, remote-friendly field structure with high autonomy in work execution.
