You will support the installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of advanced industrial equipment across multiple industries, ensuring reliable performance and high customer satisfaction. Accountabilities:
- Perform installation, commissioning, servicing, and upgrades of industrial machinery across various customer sites.
- Program, debug, and troubleshoot PLC systems and automation controls to optimize equipment performance.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control-system issues during routine and emergency service visits.
- Provide on-site support and customer training focused on operations, maintenance, safety, and PLC best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including installation reports, programming updates, and service logs.
- Interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals during repairs and installations.
- Identify defective components, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Collaborate independently while following established procedures and offering technical guidance when needed.
Requirements
- Experience with PLC programming, debugging, and troubleshooting is essential.
- Background in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or automation systems, with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and ladder logic.
- Degree in engineering, engineering technology, or electro-mechanical technology; alternatively, a high school diploma with seven or more years of relevant experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and the ability to resolve issues in environments with limited standardization.
- Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with CAD or SolidWorks is an advantage.
- Strong communication abilities, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the capacity to multitask effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively (75–80%), including overnight stays, weekends, and international travel when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, or crawling.
