ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, with locations in Cypress, California, and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling, and we are seeking a Field Service Technician in a remote/on-the-road position in our NW US territory.

 

The Field Service Technician provides technical expertise as part of the ANA Support Team for the repair and training to our line of generators, air compressors, and associated equipment. An ANA Field Service Technician should be creative with solutions that make sense for the betterment of the company and its customers. The Field Service Technician aids in the development and education of our core customers. With regular customer visits and building open and honest relationships, adding additional support to our quality line of equipment and commitment to customers. Further, the Field Service Technician collaborates with our engineering and manufacturing teams on product improvements, new product development, as well as after purchase additions to the equipment. 

 

The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. This role reports to the National Service and Training Manager. 


Role & Responsibilities:
•    Performs all duties in a safe and effective manner according to the company’s policies and procedures.
•    Maintains the ANA culture
•    Safely operate ANA service vehicles.
•    Performs installation and training services for our core customer base
•    Troubleshoot problems and resolve in a timely manner.
•    Communicates information and documents with work computer and phone.
•    Provides superior customer service.
•    Maintains professional personal appearance.
•    Updates professional knowledge through constant study of ANA products
•    Helps provide a positive team spirit daily.
•    Travel up to 80% throughout North America
•    Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
•    2+ years of hands-on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or a related technical role. 
•    Trade school certification or technical training with a focus on engines, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment, or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, preferred
•    Working knowledge of mechanical + basic electrical systems, including basic troubleshooting and diagnostics. 
•    Comfortable interacting with customers and providing training
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and documentation. 
•    Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation. 
•    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform equipment diagnostics and repairs in the field. 


Physical Requirements:
•    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•    Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
•    Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

$76,000 - $86,000 a year
The salary range for this role is $76,000 – 86,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.

You must be based in the United States and live in ANA’s Northwest Region: WA, OR, MT, ID, WY, ND, SD, NE, and MN, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Please be advised that ANA does not provide employment-based visa sponsorship for this position at this time.
