In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to federal agencies, ensuring they achieve maximum value and mission impact from their cybersecurity solutions. You will manage a portfolio of key government accounts, building trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders while driving adoption, compliance, and operational success. The role combines customer advocacy, strategic engagement, and technical guidance, offering a high-impact environment where your efforts directly enhance mission readiness. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to align solutions with client objectives and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Accountabilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned federal accounts, engaging with agency leadership and technical stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, aligning solutions with mission objectives and security mandates
- Conduct regular business reviews to demonstrate value, monitor progress, and recommend strategic initiatives
- Drive adoption of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compliance with federal standards and optimizing system utilization
- Identify opportunities to expand capabilities within assigned agencies, supporting renewals and potential upsell/cross-sell initiatives
- Act as the federal customer advocate internally, providing feedback to product, engineering, and support teams to enhance features and services
- Support transitions from pre-sales to post-sales, ensuring seamless handoff and consistent client experience
- Maintain technical proficiency in cybersecurity technologies, integration methods, and federal standards such as Zero Trust, TIC 3.0, and SASE
- Travel to federal sites as needed (up to 20%) to engage directly with clients and facilitate mission-critical initiatives
Requirements:
- United States citizenship with an active Secret Security Clearance (minimum)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in customer success, account management, or client-facing roles supporting federal government, DoD, or Intelligence Community (IC) customers
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity mandates, cloud security, Zero Trust frameworks, and NIST standards
- Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships and influence decision-makers
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic government environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience navigating federal acquisition, renewal processes, and government fiscal cycles is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in a GovCloud context is preferred
