This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Federal Account Executive in the United States.

This role focuses on driving revenue and expanding relationships within the Federal Government sector. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing complex mission-driven deals, while leveraging existing client relationships to uncover new opportunities. The position requires deep understanding of federal agency priorities, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to craft tailored solutions that align with agency objectives. Success in this role will involve collaborating with internal teams, influencing stakeholders at multiple levels, and delivering measurable outcomes that advance organizational missions. This position offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in digital solutions sales will directly impact government engagement and citizen services.


Accountabilities:
  • Drive new revenue and expand relationships within assigned federal accounts.
  • Conduct lead generation, account planning, and pipeline management across the Federal sector.
  • Understand agency mission requirements and map solutions to executive priorities.
  • Develop and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to influence decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and delivery teams to execute sales strategies.
  • Manage complex deals and large opportunities, providing consultative guidance to clients.
  • Maintain disciplined sales processes and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Travel as needed (approximately 25%) to engage with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in field sales, solutions-based or subscription model sales.
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals ($300K - $600K+) within the Federal Government.
  • Experience in digital communications or government technology sales is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal agency operations, procurement processes, and program offices.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate value propositions to senior stakeholders.
  • Confident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious in pursuing results.
