This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of strategic client engagement, real-world evidence, and late-phase pharmaceutical services, with a strong focus on driving commercial growth and deepening executive-level partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how scientific and evidence-generation services are positioned and delivered to top-tier life sciences clients. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will lead high-value discussions that influence proposals, study design, and long-term account strategy. The role combines commercial leadership with scientific expertise, requiring close collaboration across business development, operations, marketing, and delivery teams. You will also contribute directly to revenue growth by supporting complex bids, shaping differentiated solutions, and strengthening client relationships. This is a highly influential position for a seasoned leader who thrives in consultative, science-driven, and client-facing environments.
Accountabilities:- Build and strengthen senior-level relationships across existing and prospective pharmaceutical and life sciences clients, expanding strategic account penetration.
- Partner with business development and senior leadership to align service offerings with client objectives and drive new commercial opportunities.
- Lead and contribute to all phases of client engagement including capabilities discussions, RFIs, RFPs, proposals, presentations, and bid defenses.
- Provide strategic scientific and operational input into proposal development, ensuring innovative and differentiated solutions.
- Personally develop and refine high-impact proposal content, including methodological and scientific narratives.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, delivery, and subject matter experts to ensure consistency, quality, and market differentiation.
- Represent the organization at external industry and scientific forums to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts to ensure seamless execution of client strategies and integrated service delivery.
Requirements:
- 20+ years of experience in pharmaceutical services, clinical research, real-world evidence, or related life sciences industries.
- Proven track record of building, growing, and maintaining senior executive-level client relationships.
- Strong expertise in consultative selling, strategic account management, and complex solution positioning.
- Deep experience with late-phase research, real-world evidence generation, and/or feasibility and evidence strategy.
- Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting proposals, bids, and strategic sales enablement activities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, sales, scientific, and operational teams.
- Strong industry knowledge of pharmaceutical development, commercialization, and evidence-generation landscapes.
