This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Executive Director, Strategic Client Engagement in the United States.

In this role, you will lead strategic client engagement initiatives, driving commercial growth and strengthening relationships across key accounts. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align services with client objectives, contribute to proposals and RFP responses, and provide innovative input into study design and execution strategies. This position offers an opportunity to influence high-level client decisions, represent the organization at industry events, and mentor teams to deliver differentiating solutions. You will play a critical role in expanding the organization’s market presence while shaping strategic approaches that improve client outcomes. The role is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on delivering measurable impact in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop and deepen relationships with existing clients while creating new opportunities within strategic accounts
  • Partner with business development and senior leaders to align services with client goals and enable commercial growth
  • Contribute to all commercial engagements, including RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and presentations
  • Provide strategic scientific and operational input into proposals and project execution
  • Represent the organization at scientific and industry meetings, building visibility and credibility
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring innovative solutions and methodological excellence in client engagements
  • Lead senior-level client relationships and mentor internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
Requirements:
  • 20+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical services or related industry
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships and drive consultative sales
  • Expertise in strategic account planning, proposal development, and commercial engagement
  • Strong leadership, communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Experience collaborating effectively with marketing, sales, operations, and scientific teams
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and expanding client engagement
