This is a high-visibility leadership role at the center of national reproductive healthcare advocacy, responsible for shaping strategy, influence, and impact across fertility policy in the United States. You will guide a mission-driven organization focused on expanding access to fertility care through coordinated policy engagement, coalition building, and public advocacy. The role blends executive leadership, policy expertise, communications strategy, and stakeholder mobilization in a highly dynamic and politically engaged environment. Acting as the primary spokesperson and strategic architect, you will work closely with policymakers, healthcare stakeholders, and advocacy partners. You will also oversee organizational operations, financial stewardship, and national campaign execution. This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing organization at a pivotal moment for reproductive health policy and drive meaningful, system-level change.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the organization’s national strategy, advocacy agenda, and long-term policy vision for expanding access to fertility care
  • Monitor and respond to federal and state legislative and regulatory developments impacting reproductive and fertility healthcare
  • Develop policy positions, issue briefs, and model legislation to support advocacy initiatives
  • Build, grow, and mobilize a national coalition of advocates, partners, and stakeholders aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead rapid-response advocacy efforts and coordinate cross-sector coalition-building activities
  • Oversee communications strategy, public messaging, and external engagement to strengthen visibility and influence
  • Plan and execute advocacy events, stakeholder convenings, trainings, and national engagement initiatives
  • Direct fundraising strategy, ensuring compliance with political and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee organizational operations, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure sustainability and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in public policy, government affairs, advocacy, or related leadership roles
  • Strong background in healthcare policy, with preference for experience in reproductive health, fertility, or women’s health
  • Proven success in legislative strategy, grassroots mobilization, and coalition building at scale
  • Deep understanding of U.S. federal and state legislative and regulatory processes
  • Strong executive communication skills, including public speaking and stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategy, manage operations, and oversee budgets
  • Political acumen with credibility across policymakers, advocacy groups, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate policy shifts and respond rapidly
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to unify diverse stakeholders around shared goals
  • Mission-driven mindset focused on expanding equitable access to fertility care

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual compensation between $150,000 and $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Flexible, remote-first arrangement based in the United States
  • Part-time engagement (approximately 40 hours per month) as an independent contractor (1099)
  • High-impact leadership role with national visibility and policy influence
  • Opportunity to shape reproductive healthcare policy and expand fertility access nationwide
  • Collaboration with a mission-driven network of healthcare and advocacy leaders
  • Opportunity to build and lead a national organization during a key growth phase
