Position Overview:
The Executive Director, Community Partners is a senior leader of the Community Engagement (CE) Department, responsible for shaping and scaling Care Access's national community engagement strategy. This executive role is accountable for leading a high-performing team of Community Engagement Partners (CEPs), managing national strategic partnerships, optimizing team performance, and ensuring a seamless experience for Future of Medicine (FoM) Members, Ambassadors, and community stakeholders. As a key member of the Community Engagement leadership team, the Executive Director will spearhead initiatives that deepen relationships with communities, enhance access to clinical research, and advance organizational goals through innovative outreach and operational excellence.
What You'll Be Working On (Duties include but not limited to): - Lead the development and execution of national community engagement strategies in alignment with organizational objectives and growth targets
- Oversee and mentor the Community Engagement Partner (CEP) team, ensuring consistent performance management, development, and retention of top talent
- Design and implement KPI tracking, CRM optimization, and lead funnel management to drive team accountability and community conversion
- Establish and maintain strategic national partnerships, managing both inbound opportunities and targeted outreach to expand impact
- Direct the planning and execution of community events and initiatives that elevate participant experience and drive enrollment in research programs
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on participant experience, community trust, and health equity trends across markets
- Oversee risk mitigation strategies related to staffing, event execution, and partnership management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the community engagement function, leveraging feedback, data, and industry best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, compliance, training, and operational teams to ensure alignment and effective program delivery
- Represent the Community Engagement team in senior leadership forums, cross-functional task forces, and external partnerships
- Act as a cultural ambassador, modeling company and team values during times of change and transformation
- Contribute to long-range planning and budgeting processes in partnership with finance and operational leads
Physical Requirements:- This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.
Travel Requirements:- This role requires up to 25% travel requirements further explained below. Length of travel will depend upon study requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives.

What You Bring (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): - Executive-level leadership in community engagement, business development, public health, or mission-driven operations
- Strong background in organizational leadership, staff development, and strategic planning
- Expertise in CRM systems, KPI reporting, and performance optimization frameworks
- Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to build national partnerships and scale community impact programs
- Data-driven mindset with a strong commitment to health equity and participant experience
Certifications, Education, and Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles in business development, public health, or related field with a focus on community-based programs
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in public health, business administration, or related field preferred
