About Rhythms
Rhythms is building the AI that helps you run your business autonomously. Founded by the team behind Ally.io (acquired by Microsoft), backed by GreenOaks, Madrona, and Accel—earning GeekWire's Deal of the Year and recognized among the top AI innovators of 2025. Already running inside Fortune 100 enterprises, regional health systems, and global logistics companies.
AI agents execute proven playbooks, track progress across every system, surface risks before they land, and eliminate the manual overhead that slows organizations down. Built on multi-agent AI architecture, our platform integrates with Slack, Teams, Jira, and Linear—so the operational layer just works.
The role
You'll work directly with our CEO and co-founder as the operational engine that keeps him effective and the company moving.
You own the CEO's calendar, communications, and the coordination that compounds across the company—hiring, customer prep, company ops, travel, events. You treat his time as the company's most valuable resource and protect it accordingly. You'll also help build Rhythms' Business Partner agent—the AI teammate that handles this exact work for executives everywhere. Your daily playbook becomes the blueprint.
This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role at close range to a serial-entrepreneur CEO. You'll see every part of the business—product, customers, hiring, strategy—and use that context to anticipate what's needed before it's asked.
What you'll do
Run the CEO's calendar—investors, board members, customers, leadership team. Every meeting has context, an agenda, and a clear outcome. AI preps the briefs and summarizes the threads; you apply the judgment.
Own company operations—leadership offsites, all-hands, onboarding, quarterly board materials. Be the connective tissue across a distributed team in Seattle, SF, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Automations handle the chasing; you handle the calls.
Partner with the People team on hiring—interview scheduling, candidate experience, recruiting at startup speed. Pipelines run themselves; you handle the judgment calls.
Write in the CEO's voice—emails, memos, updates to customers, partners, investors, and the team. AI drafts at speed; you own the final word.
Own the work that doesn't fit in anyone else's lane—vendor evaluation, competitive research, customer briefs, event planning, travel, expenses. Agents deliver the first pass in an hour; you sharpen it and ship.
Partner with product and engineering to build Rhythms' Business Partner agent. Your workflows are the training set—what you automate for yourself is what customers run on.
What we're looking for
~5 years supporting a founder or C-level at a startup or high-growth company. You've been through board cycles, rapid scaling, and the kind of chaos where the right operator changes the outcome.
AI-native builder, not an AI user. You don't just use Claude or ChatGPT—you've built custom agents, workflows, and automations that replaced work you used to do by hand. You have opinions on which models to use when. You're the person other people ask when they want to know what's possible.
Owner mentality. You don't draw boundaries around your job—you do what needs to be done. You see what needs to happen and make it happen. You juggle fifteen things without dropping one because you have a system, and it works.
Strong writer in someone else's voice. Tool-fluent across Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Linear—and curious about what's new.
Absolute discretion. You'll see financials, strategy, and personnel decisions. Trust is non-negotiable.
What you'll get
Executive Business Partner role at an AI company with enterprise traction, backed by GreenOaks, Madrona, and Accel
Direct daily partnership with a serial entrepreneur CEO—ex-Microsoft VP, two successful exits (Chronus, Ally.io)
The chance to build the AI agent version of your own role—use the product to shape the product
Unlimited AI token usage—every model and platform you need to build your own workflows
Competitive salary, meaningful early-stage equity, top-tier health benefits, 401k with match, and flexible vacation policy. Based in the Bay Area with regular collaboration with the Seattle team
