About the Role
We're looking for a high-performing Event Marketing Manager to lead our global events strategy and execution. In this role, you'll be a force multiplier — creating memorable experiences that drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and strengthen relationships with our developer and security communities. You'll play a critical role in scaling our events program, building meaningful connections, and creating the experiences that fuel our business growth.
This role is remote with 30-40% travel required, including some international conferences and events.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive events marketing strategy that drives measurable business outcomes
Plan and manage 30+ events annually — from intimate developer meetups to large-scale conference activations
Own end-to-end event execution from initial concept through post-event ROI analysis and optimization
Coordinate complex logistics across multiple time zones, managing vendors, venues, and cross-functional teams
Build trust and strong relationships with industry conference organizers, developer communities, and key stakeholders
Create compelling event experiences that showcase our products and tell our brand story authentically
Track strategic initiatives, manage event budgets, and ensure flawless execution
Facilitate communication between sales, marketing, and product teams to align events with business objectives
Design and execute pre-event, during-event, and post-event marketing campaigns that maximize engagement
Identify and secure speaking opportunities for company leadership at relevant industry conferences
Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems to keep high-priority events and activations moving forward
Lead content creation from events including recorded sessions, case studies, and social media amplification
Requirements
4+ years of experience in B2B events marketing, with at least 2 years in the Cybersecurity space
Experience with developer-focused events, security conferences, or technical trade shows strongly preferred
Proven track record managing events at scale with demonstrable business impact and ROI measurement
Expert proficiency in event management platforms, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems
Exceptional project management skills with the natural ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly
A go-getter attitude — you spot opportunities before they happen, make decisions, and take action without waiting to be asked
Highly organized, insanely resourceful, and always thinking two steps ahead to deliver flawless experiences
Strong creative problem-solving abilities and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Genuine passion for creating exceptional experiences for technical audiences and developer communities
