In this role, you will drive new business growth within the equipment finance sector by developing strong client relationships and originating high-value financing solutions. You will operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial sales environment supported by the stability and resources of a well-capitalized financial institution. The position focuses on building long-term partnerships with end users, vendors, and referral networks while consistently achieving ambitious revenue targets. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, structuring deals, and guiding customers through the financing process from origination to closing. This is a highly independent role where your ability to prospect, negotiate, and close business directly impacts portfolio growth. You will collaborate closely with underwriting and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client experience.


Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving equipment finance origination and revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and managing long-term client relationships. You will identify, structure, and close financing transactions while ensuring strong collaboration with internal teams to deliver efficient deal execution. You will also act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, promoting financing solutions and strengthening market presence within your assigned territory.

  • Achieve or exceed individual and organizational revenue and production targets
  • Generate new business through direct prospecting, networking, and referral partnerships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners
  • Structure and close equipment finance transactions across a range of asset types
  • Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal execution
  • Educate clients and partners on financing solutions and value propositions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and market resource within your assigned territory

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings proven success in equipment finance or commercial lending sales, with a strong existing network and the ability to independently originate and close deals. You should be highly motivated, relationship-driven, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.

  • Proven experience in equipment finance sales with a strong track record of success
  • Established book of business and strong industry relationships preferred
  • Experience financing equipment such as industrial, manufacturing, specialty vehicles, marine, or heavy machinery
  • Ability to structure transactions typically in the $500K–$5M range
  • Strong prospecting, closing, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Self-driven, competitive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with internal underwriting and operations teams
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service and professional integrity
