Equipment Finance Direct Originations Officer III

The Equipment Finance Direct Originations Officer III will be responsible for originating and managing equipment finance relationships while driving portfolio growth, maintaining strong client service, and ensuring alignment with risk and profitability objectives.

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies based on client profiles, industry segments, geographic markets, and asset categories.
• Identify and pursue new equipment finance opportunities through direct prospecting, relationship development, and market outreach.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of equipment finance clients while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Partner with internal banking teams to develop joint marketing strategies, account plans, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Build proposals for new business opportunities while collaborating with underwriting teams to ensure appropriate risk assessment.
• Coordinate client information gathering, onboarding processes, and documentation requirements.
• Structure new business opportunities in alignment with pricing, risk, and portfolio objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders throughout the sales and servicing process.
• Identify opportunities to introduce clients to additional financial products and business solutions.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, opportunities, and activities within CRM systems.
• Achieve annual portfolio growth objectives through successful acquisition of new clients.
• Manage travel and business development expenses responsibly while supporting market expansion efforts.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced equipment finance professional with a strong background in direct origination, relationship management, and financial solutions. This individual should possess strong analytical capabilities, industry knowledge, and the ability to build lasting client partnerships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience originating equipment finance clients.
• Strong knowledge of equipment finance products, loan and lease structures, and industry practices.
• Proven experience developing new business and managing client relationships.
• Ability to analyze financial information and evaluate opportunities based on risk and profitability.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies and experience using approved pricing software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with underwriting, banking partners, and internal teams.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business technology tools.
