Enterprise Solutions Engineering Manager

This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of enterprise sales, technical consulting, and product strategy. You will lead a team of Solutions Engineers responsible for guiding complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals from technical discovery through to successful evaluation and adoption. The role blends people leadership, technical depth, and strategic execution, requiring someone who can elevate a high-performing team while also shaping how enterprise customers experience the product. You will partner closely with enterprise sales leadership, product, and engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions and long-term product direction. A key part of your mission is building and refining scalable systems, including demo frameworks, POC structures, and enterprise enablement resources. This is a builder’s leadership role where your influence extends from deal execution to company-wide strategy.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead and scale the enterprise Solutions Engineering function while driving execution excellence across complex enterprise deals.

Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers supporting enterprise sales cycles
Guide the team in complex technical sales motions including discovery, demos, POCs, security reviews, and RFPs
Partner with enterprise Account Executives to drive technical strategy and execution across multi-stakeholder deals
Oversee solution design and ensure alignment between customer workflows and platform capabilities
Build and refine scalable enterprise SE processes including demo frameworks, POC methodologies, and enablement tools
Develop competitive positioning, integration playbooks, and technical knowledge bases for enterprise engagements
Translate field insights into structured feedback for Product and Engineering teams
Step in directly on strategic deals when deep technical expertise is required

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced Solutions Engineering leader with a strong background in enterprise SaaS and a proven ability to scale teams and processes.

Experience managing or mentoring Solutions Engineers in complex enterprise SaaS environments
Proven track record of hiring, developing, and leading high-performing technical teams
Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance, HR, Executive sponsors)
Ability to design and improve scalable processes, frameworks, and enablement systems
Strong technical and business acumen with the ability to connect product capabilities to enterprise outcomes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Experience partnering closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
Hands-on mindset with experience building POCs, demos, or technical evaluation frameworks
Background in Applicant Tracking Systems or HR Tech is a plus
Experience as a former Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical IC role is highly valued
