Role Specific Job Duties:
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of SDRs, providing the coaching, feedback, processes, and guidance they need to hit and exceed their individual and team targets.
- Conduct data-led coaching sessions, using performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and guide individual development plans.
- Hire and onboard new SDRs and provide ongoing training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry best practices to maintain high levels of productivity across the organization.
- Regularly recognize individual and group effort in creative ways, supporting motivation, and an energetic pace across the team.
Strategy & Performance Management
- Develop and execute effective strategies for lead generation, qualification, and outreach within a SaaS environment, with a heavy emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with Growth Marketing, RevOps, and Enablement to leverage AI-powered tools and automated processes to scale and optimize outreach efforts.
- Identify and collaborate on Account-Based Marketing (ABM) plays to target, engage, and re-engage high-value accounts.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, using data to make informed decisions and optimize team performance.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our strategies are working as intended and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute hypothesis testing for cadences, subject lines, messaging, etc. to continuously improve our outreach effectiveness.
- Accurately forecast team performance and report progress to leadership.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Build strong relationships with go-to-market colleagues that establishes an environmentfor high performance and accountability on an ongoing basis.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, revops, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, improve lead quality, and optimize the sales pipeline.
- Identify opportunities to improve our sales processes, implement new technologies, and contribute to our sales playbooks and best practices.
Required Skills / Experience:
Leadership & Sales Acumen
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and motivating a high-performing sales team.
- A strong understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and outreach for both inbound and outbound strategies.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities of selling SaaS products to marketers
- Demonstrable record of success in achieving sales goals.
Analytical & Technical Skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and our tech stack, including 6sense, UserGems, and SalesLoft, Sales Navigator.
- Comfortable with technology and the tools used in a modern SaaS sales environment.
- Experience with leveraging AI and automation to scale sales development efforts.
Communication & Project Management
- Capable presenter with credible presence at all levels of leadership.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
