Job Purpose:
The Program Manager – (MDM) Owns the enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) program portfolio, spanning platform delivery, data-quality uplift, and ongoing value realization. Provides vision, OKRs, and benefit tracking for all MDM initiatives while integrating them with adjacent data-governance, analytics, and AI programs to maximize business impact.
Essential Functions
· Program Ownership & Strategy (30 %)
Lead the vision, roadmap, and budget for the enterprise MDM program. Define OKRs, benefit-realization targets, and risk/issue logs; align all initiatives with corporate data-governance strategy and report progress to senior leadership.
· Cross-Functional Governance Facilitation (20 %)
Orchestrate the enterprise data-governance framework, chair stewardship councils and working groups, and drive cadence-based collaboration to resolve data conflicts, assign ownership, and formalize stewardship roles.
· MDM Platform & Technology Oversight (15 %)
Partner with Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, and IT to deliver scalable MDM tooling and integration patterns (batch, API, real-time). Own release planning, vendor management, and SLA/performance monitoring across customer, product, vendor, and other domains.
· Data Stewardship Enablement (10 %)
Define the stewardship operating model, establish RACI/accountability matrices, and train business stewards on workflows, tooling, and KPIs to embed data-quality ownership in daily operations.
· Standards & Policy Enforcement (10 %)
Drive adoption of enterprise data standards, golden-record definitions, match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and approval workflows; conduct periodic audits to ensure policy compliance and remediate gaps.
· Change Management & Communication (10 %)
Develop and execute the stakeholder-engagement and communications plan to build awareness, sponsorship, and adoption. Partner with business sponsors and SMEs to foster a data-ownership culture and reinforce behavior change.
· Measurement & Continuous Improvement (5 %)
Define, track, and publish MDM KPIs (e.g., data-quality score, duplicate rate, completeness). Conduct maturity assessments, gather feedback, and lead continuous-improvement sprints to optimize processes, technology, and governance.
Education
· Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
