We are hiring to expand our Enterprise team as we modernize how the AEC industry operates.

The Role

The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for securing new business within large AEC organizations (500+ employees). This creates an opportunity to manage complex, strategic sales cycles involving C-level executives, IT leadership, and multiple business units. You will act as a strategic advisor, helping large organizations modernize their revenue operations through digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to penetrate high-value target organizations and navigate complex corporate structures.

  • Executive Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with C-Suite stakeholders (CEO, CTO, CFO) and department heads to align Joist AI with their strategic business goals.

  • Complex Deal Management: Lead sophisticated sales cycles involving RFP responses, security reviews, and multi-stakeholder consensus building.

  • Negotiation: Orchestrate the negotiation of complex enterprise contracts and procurement processes to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Thought Leadership: Represent Joist AI at major industry conferences and events to build network influence and brand visibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of Enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience.

  • Strategic Selling: Proven track record of closing large, complex deals with large professional services organizations.

  • Process Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise procurement processes, security requirements, and legal negotiations.

  • AEC Experience: Experience selling into the AEC industry or adjacent markets (PropTech & ConTech) is preferred but not required.

  • Methodology: Proficiency in solution selling and account-based sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPICED).

  • Executive Presence: Exceptional business acumen with the ability to articulate ROI and strategic value to senior leadership.

Prefered Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Existing network/relationships within the AEC industry.

  • Experience working with channel partnerships.
