As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will lead the growth of strategic accounts within the retail sector, driving digital transformation through connected planning and enterprise solutions. You will manage a portfolio of up to 50 accounts, including both greenfield opportunities and existing clients, to expand business value and deliver measurable outcomes. Success in this role requires consultative selling, executive engagement, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures. You will collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, solutions consulting, and customer success, to deliver impactful solutions that solve pressing business challenges. Your expertise will influence strategic decision-making and accelerate organizational growth.
Accountabilities:- Engage with enterprise prospects to uncover business process challenges and position solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Conduct executive-level presentations and workshops with Directors, VPs, SVPs, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Own opportunity management from lead generation to close, including account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Apply value-based selling methodologies to drive revenue and align solutions with customer priorities.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, leveraging cross-sell and upsell strategies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams—Sales Development, Marketing, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success—to maximize customer impact.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with overall business objectives and territory goals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of consultative enterprise sales experience, preferably within SaaS or technology solutions.
- Proven success selling to Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, and C-suite executives.
- History of overachieving sales quotas, including multiple high six-figure ACV deals.
- Experience managing a mix of existing customers and new business opportunities within a defined territory.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, FP&A, workforce planning, or sales operations within retail or consumer-focused organizations.
- Excellent opportunity management, executive presentation, negotiation, and account planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex internal and partner organizations to deliver results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Altify, Marketo, Engagio, and account planning methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Miller Heiman) is advantageous.
