We are looking for an accomplished and forward-thinking Engineering Manager to manage the Rider Core Experience Team. The Rider Core Experience team is the heart of Lime. We serve our riders from their first trip until they become power riders. As a pivotal member, you will wield significant influence in shaping both the engineering vision and the business landscape. The responsibility for steering the engineering culture, shaping the future of rider experiences, and propelling the growth of Lime's micromobility platform rests squarely in your capable hands.

What you'll do:
Be both highly technical and an effective people manager
Be a subject matter expert in a product domain
Lead diverse teams (of mobile, web, and backend engineers) that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area
Work with your team and cross functional partners to define and influence strategy
Drive roadmap creation and execution
Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritization
Participate in technical design
Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals
About you:
8+ years of industry professional software engineering experience.
3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing strategic projects, with 2+ years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role managing teams of 7+ engineers.
Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
