As an Engineering Manager for Partner Integrations, you will lead a cross-functional team of mobile and cloud engineers to design and deliver scalable, resilient, and flexible integration platforms for external partners. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and prioritization to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across engineering, product, and operations to influence priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes. • Accountabilities:
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams of Android, iOS, and Cloud Engineers focused on partner and third-party integrations.
• Oversee project planning, prioritization, execution, and progress tracking, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior engineers and product managers, to align technical efforts with business goals.
• Attract, mentor, and grow engineering talent while promoting a culture of technical and management excellence.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and platforms, influencing priorities to deliver coherent outcomes.
• Define and implement technical strategies and best practices for building scalable, resilient integration systems.
• Contribute to a customer-centric environment and enhance team performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, developing products for consumer or enterprise customers.
• 5+ years of formal management experience, including performance appraisals and mentoring other people leaders.
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in complex system software development.
• Proficiency in languages such as Java, GO, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or other public clouds.
• Proven ability to build and manage remote-first teams.
• Strong background in designing and managing partner integration capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a bias for action and strong communication skills for engaging cross-functional teams.
• Experience writing job descriptions and participating in hiring processes.
