Sanguine is the parent company behind Introzy, our core product — a multi-app platform (including Funlz and Profylz) designed to unify networking, workflow, and productivity. We’re an early-stage company moving fast to deliver value, with a lean engineering team, clear priorities, and a culture that embraces AI as a core development partner.
We’re standardizing on a simple, vanilla, AI-friendly stack: React, Node.js with Express, PostgreSQL, AWS, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD. Our goal is to build reliable, scalable systems that are easy to extend and maintain while shipping quickly.
About Sanguine Technology Solutions
Sanguine Technology Solutions is the technology engine of the Sanguine portfolio, 2024 Inc. 5000 #94. Its mission is to build category-defining software that addresses high-friction, high-value problems for small and mid-sized businesses. From partner operations (Introzy) and intelligent surveys (Funlz) to AI-powered automation and custom SaaS, STS delivers tools that help businesses grow faster, with more clarity and less chaos.
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager for Introzy who will report directly to the CTO. You’ll manage a mix of internal engineers and external partners, drive execution on the roadmap, and ensure the team ships high-quality product increments on a predictable cadence.
You’ll work closely with company leadership, Product Management, and Design to translate strategy into clear plans, scope, and milestones. You’ll balance delivery speed with reliability, create focus for the team, and help evolve our engineering practices as we scale.
Team Leadership and Management
Manage and coach a cross-functional group of engineers working on Introzy (including internal team members and external/nearshore partners).
Run effective rituals (standups, sprint planning, retros, incident reviews) that keep the team aligned and moving.
Provide clear expectations, feedback, and growth paths for engineers.
Planning, Roadmapping, and Delivery
Partner with the CTO, Product, and Design to turn strategy into a concrete roadmap with priorities, scope, and realistic timelines.
Own execution for key roadmap areas, from backlog grooming through launch.
Balance new feature work, technical debt, and reliability/infra priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales to clarify requirements, tradeoffs, and sequencing.
Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly to leadership.
Ensure feedback from customers and internal stakeholders is incorporated into planning.
Execution and Quality
Uphold engineering best practices across code review, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
Work with tech leads and senior ICs to break down work into well-shaped, shippable units.
Help unblock the team by making decisions, clarifying requirements, or adjusting scope.
Resourcing and External Partners
Coordinate work across internal engineers, contractors, and EOR/nearshore teams.
Ensure external partners are aligned on standards, architecture, and quality expectations.
Identify capability or capacity gaps and work with the CTO to address them.
Application: TypeScript, Node.js/Express, React, PostgreSQL
Infra and hosting: Render and modern PaaS, AWS as needed
CI/CD: GitHub Actions
Observability and analytics: Sentry, Segment, Amplitude
Collaboration: Notion, Linear, Slack, Figma
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a formal or informal engineering leadership/management role.
Experience leading teams building SaaS products on a modern web stack (ideally TypeScript/Node/React/Postgres or similar).
Strong track record of delivering roadmap outcomes in partnership with Product and Design.
Comfortable managing both internal engineers and external or nearshore resources.
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: system design, reliability, testing, CI/CD.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to create clarity and alignment across functions.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with evolving priorities.
Experience in B2B SaaS, especially in integrations-heavy, workflow, or platform products.
Previous work in an environment that leans heavily on AI tools for development and operations.
Experience working with EOR/nearshore partners and building high-performing distributed teams.
Background as a senior/staff IC before moving into management.
Report directly to the CTO and have a central role in shaping Introzy’s product and engineering org.
Lead a growing team at a pivotal moment as we scale from MVP to "Pro"-level product.
Work in a culture that values clear priorities, high ownership, and AI-accelerated execution.
See your decisions and leadership translate quickly into product impact and customer value.
