Engineering Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team responsible for core cloud networking infrastructure. You will oversee the design, development, and operation of scalable, reliable, and efficient network systems that connect global users and services. The role involves strategic planning, technical guidance, and team development, while collaborating across multiple partner teams to ensure infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the business. You will drive operational excellence, promote technical quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence and career development
• Define and execute a clear roadmap for cloud networking infrastructure, including proxies, load balancers, service mesh, VPCs, and cross-region connectivity
• Ensure high availability, scalability, efficiency, and operational reliability of network systems
• Collaborate with internal teams across cloud infrastructure, security, reliability, and other engineering functions to deliver cohesive network solutions
• Promote engineering best practices from design and code review to production operations
• Engage with open-source communities and external partners to drive innovation and integration
• Manage team operations, on-call rotations, and production incident response while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

• 3+ years of engineering management experience with 6+ years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced technical environment
• Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their networking services
• Experience managing large-scale networking systems and software, including proxies, CDN, DNS, and gateways
• Familiarity with service mesh (e.g., Istio), Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies is a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills
• Proven ability to lead teams responsible for production infrastructure and on-call systems
• Passion for efficiency, system reliability, technical quality, and operational excellence
