You will: 

  • Prepare client correspondence for review
  • Send, receive and monitor requests related to our engagements 
  • Prepare and complete: 
    • Client request lists
    • Engagement Letters
    • Audit confirmations
  • Maintain communication and collaboration with internal teams to ensure client materials received meet the needs for the execution of our services 
  • Coordinate and communicate with team members to ensure a smooth engagement and escalate delays as appropriate
  • Effectively track and adhere to internal and external deadlines
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze documentation for accuracy 
  • Maintain accurate records and files for each engagement
  • Participate in ongoing system enhancements and training
  • Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives, special projects, and strategies

Qualifications & Selection Process

We look for candidates with: 

  • Strong time management, planning, and follow through skills
  • Possesses strong critical thinking skills and the ability to quickly learn new processes, applying them independently in various situations with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented with the ability to monitor various timelines and hold key stakeholders accountable for results
  • Highly organized and accustomed to handling a large volume of time sensitive tasks
  • Proactive in day-to-day interactions as well as formulating solutions to problems 
  • Effective and polished communicator
  • A self-starter with a service-minded attitude
  • Follow written and oral directions and instructions; maintain client confidentiality
  • Proficient in Google Suite and comfortable using a variety of software tools 
  • Prior experience at a professional services firm in a similar role or other relevant accounting/industry experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with accounting and/or tax software a plus (XCM/CCH Access Workflow, CaseWare, Suralink, Confirmation.com)
