Energy Compliance Audit Supervisor

• Lead and execute attestation engagements, including agreed-upon procedures and audit reporting aligned with quality control standards.
• Collect, analyze, and validate operational and production data from renewable fuel facilities to assess regulatory compliance.
• Interpret and apply frameworks such as the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS), staying current on regulatory updates.
• Validate fuel pathways and support Quality Assurance Program (QAP) activities within regulatory requirements.
• Research emerging regulations and translate complex policy updates into clear, actionable compliance insights.
• Serve as a client-facing representative, ensuring clear communication, trust, and professional engagement.
• Act as a liaison between staff, supervisors, and clients to support audit execution and issue resolution.
• Contribute to business development efforts by building and maintaining strong client and industry relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, management, or a related field preferred (not mandatory).
• 3+ years of experience in renewable fuels, environmental compliance, or related regulatory/audit work.
• Accreditation as a Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Lead Verifier strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of renewable fuel regulatory frameworks and compliance auditing processes.
• High analytical capability with strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical and regulatory concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (intermediate level preferred).
