About the role
Elevar is hiring a VP of Marketing & Growth to own everything we do to attract, convert, and activate new customers. This is a high-leverage leadership role for someone who can operate across paid, content, influencer, product marketing, partnerships, and CRO — and move fast doing it.

You’ll manage a small but mighty team, plug in tightly with Sales and Partnerships, and be directly accountable for growing top-of-funnel leads and trials. You’ll also shape how Elevar shows up in the market — from positioning to distribution — to ensure we’re seen as the leader in server-side tracking and attribution for ecommerce.

We don’t want old-school marketing. We want velocity, experimentation, influence, and AI-driven execution. You’ll know how to mix strategy with do-it-yourself muscle to test, learn, and scale what works.

Where you'll work

This is a remote-friendly role with flexibility to work from home. Ideal candidates are located in Central or Eastern Time Zone, with occasional travel to Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. Candidates outside this area will be considered for the right fit.


What You’ll Do
• Own all of Elevar’s marketing strategy and execution across paid, content, SEO, influencer, events, partnerships, product launches, and brand.


• Manage and grow our marketing team, currently including a Brand/Content Marketer and Product Marketing Manager.

• Drive new leads and trials through efficient, scalable campaigns that support sales goals.

• Create market momentum by positioning Elevar as the category leader in tracking, enrichment, and attribution.

• Collaborate across GTM with our Head of Sales and Head of Tech/Agency Partnerships to align on campaigns, co-marketing, and partner activation.

• Bring fresh thinking using AI tools, social influence, and underpriced channels to expand distribution and punch above our weight.

-Market Awareness Everywhere: Prospects hear about Elevar from multiple touchpoints — customers, partners, ads, social, events — without us needing to cold call.


You’re a Fit If You…
• Have owned the full marketing funnel in a fast-growing SaaS or ecommerce tech company.

• Are fluent in modern marketing — paid, organic, influencer, product-led, AI-powered — and know how to test, learn, and scale.

• Know how to build distribution, not just content.

• Have strong instincts for what moves the needle, and know when to go deep vs. delegate.

• Can shift between builder and leader — one hour you’re writing a brief or launching a test, the next you’re aligning with sales or presenting growth strategy.

• Love scrappy experimentation but know how to build a durable, long-term engine.


Bonus Points For
• Experience marketing to Shopify or DTC brands
• Personal or network-based social influence
• Comfort with analytics and marketing ops (HubSpot, GA4, paid platforms, etc.)
• Familiarity with data-driven or server-side tech stacks

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, as we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure work environment for all Buxton stakeholders.

Compensation

The Targeted Base Salary Range for candidates located in the U.S. is $170,000 to $200,000.

 

For candidates applying from other countries, salaries will be equivalent and competitive within local markets, reflecting each nation's cost of living and customary compensation standards.

 

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and a candidate’s home base. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation in addition to base pay may be provided as part of a total compensation package, including eligibility to participate in a bonus plan.
