This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Open Look Business Solutions. We are currently looking for an Ecommerce Specialist with Web Maintenance and SEO in Texas (USA).

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless online shopping experience through efficient product management, website upkeep, and SEO optimization. You will support day-to-day operations on the BigCommerce platform, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement best practices to enhance visibility and performance. Working closely with a U.S.-based team, you will contribute to smooth product launches, consistent site functionality, and improved search engine rankings. This position requires adaptability, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a dynamic e-commerce environment.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and upload new products accurately on the BigCommerce platform, coordinating with the inventory team to ensure timely launches.
  • Oversee website maintenance by monitoring site performance, identifying bugs, and resolving technical issues to maintain a consistent user experience.
  • Support SEO efforts by optimizing product listings and webpages, applying on-page SEO best practices such as metadata, keywords, alt-text, and URL structuring.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends and contribute to improving strategy for better online visibility.
  • Maintain effective communication with the U.S.-based team and adapt to shifting project priorities while ensuring clear coordination.

Requirements

  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.
  • Previous experience with BigCommerce or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus but not required.
  • Flexibility to work during U.S. Central Time business hours.
