Position Overview
We are seeking an E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute Project Zero’s digital growth strategy. This person will own our Shopify ecosystem, run our direct-to-consumer website for beverage products and merchandise, and support our e-commerce retail channel partners including Walmart and Amazon. You will manage day-to-day execution while strategically building systems, content, and analytics needed for scalable growth.
This role blends digital marketing, e-commerce operations, site management, marketplace optimization, and performance analytics.
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Collaborate with Creative to produce digital content (ads, banners, emails, social assets).
- Own DTC acquisition and retention, including email/SMS, segmentation, retention flows, and loyalty programs.
- Support influencer and affiliate programs tied to e-commerce KPIs.
- Lead digital reporting: dashboards, KPIs, CAC, ROAS, retention, LTV, conversion rates, and marketplace analytics.
- Develop and execute loyalty programs, subscription models, and personalized experiences.
- Implement email automation and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Drive acquisition through paid media, SEO, affiliate programs, and social commerce.
- Collaborate on campaigns and brand storytelling.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership, highlighting insights and growth opportunities.
- Manage performance marketing channel agencies or internal partners.
Website & Web Shop Management
- Manage the company’s web store and related ecosystem (B2B merch portal, digital asset storage, POS, etc.).
- Build, update, and optimize product and landing pages.
- Manage site integrations (ERP, CRM, fulfillment, subscription tools, third-party apps).
- Ensure site performance and mobile optimization.
- Keep site and store updated for launches, promotions, bundles, and special programs.
- Maintain brand consistency across digital touchpoints.
- Manage agency relationships for design, development, and marketing support.
Amazon & Walmart Marketplace Support
- Setup, configure and manage Amazon Marketplace.
- Assist with Walmart.com item setup, SEO, content standards, and promotional planning.
- Monitor performance, fulfillment, content stability, compliance, and customer feedback.
- Analyze platform analytics to optimize ranking, conversion, and sales velocity.
Compliance
- Ensure systems licensing/agreements are current.
- Ensure sales and e-commerce activities align with agreements and compliance frameworks (internal, Amazon, Walmart).
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and age-gating requirements, data privacy laws and other legal requirements.
Operations & Fulfillment
- Oversee digital marketing and e-commerce budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI.
- Coordinate freight/logistics with Operations.
- Manage 3PL partners for order fulfillment and SLA compliance in collaboration with Operations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, forecasting, and availability across channels.
- Maintain accurate product data (pricing, pack size, specs, shipping constraints, compliance).
- Support development of customer FAQs, help center content, and automated responses.
- Support monitoring of customer experience: reviews, delivery issues, customer service trends, and return/refund protocols.
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years’ experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, ideally for CPG, beverage, or wellness brands.
- Hands-on Shopify experience (theme editing, apps, analytics, content updates).
- Strong knowledge of Amazon e-commerce management.
- Experience supporting Walmart.com listings or marketplace management.
- Familiarity with DTC and omnichannel e-commerce strategies.
- Experience managing digital performance marketing campaigns.
- Strong copywriting and content development skills.
- Comfortable in a startup environment—hands-on, resourceful, proactive, collaborative.
- A plus - experience with:
