This position creates and manages load plans, addresses real-time logistics challenges such as plant outages and weather events, and conducts cost and service analysis to identify and implement performance improvements. The Transportation Specialist works closely with major dairy companies, cooperatives, and haulers, gaining expertise in dispatch operations, rate benchmarking, procurement, compliance, and performance tracking.
