Requirements
You will lead the strategy and execution of a communications strategy meant to deliver value to ventures at each stage in their journey with Rippleworks. You will create deep relationships with mission driven ventures, elevating their voices, and connecting ventures to relevant resources and programs. You build trust through highly personalized communications, delivering information with authenticity and transparency. You are a hands-on marketer who can think strategically as well as roll up your sleeves and deliver compelling and effective communications.
Specifically you will
- Own the lifecycle communications for a venture's journey with Rippleworks; ensuring each stage of their journey is met with clarity, support, and meaningful engagement
- Unlock impact through Rippleworks programs by owning a mulit-channel communication campaigns that raises awareness and accessibility to solutions that meet venture needs. You will educate, inspire, and build trust with ventures throughout their partnership with Rippleworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Rippleworks on the opportunities to engage ventures through appropriate outreaches, key messaging, and expected outcomes
- Optimize performance of venture communications campaigns by testing, measuring, analyzing, and iterating on campaigns.
- Partner with internal teams, especially Programs & Capital and Venture Success, to share practical knowledge that helps ventures accelerate their growth.
- Elevate venture voices by capturing and sharing their stories, achievements, and impact on social media platforms, the Rippleworks website, and media opportunities.
- Create and maintain a venture-facing library of communication materials (FAQs, program one-pagers, email templates, etc.) and serve as an internal resource for messaging and content delivered in a singular Rippleworks voice
- Partner with internal stakeholders to design and deliver a high quality venture experience through venture convenings—gatherings that create space for active learning, shared experiences, and a sense of community.
- Oversee the tools and platforms needed to communicate with ventures and on behalf of ventures (e.g., email, CRM, event tools),
- Manage relationships with external vendors related to marketing content, marketing tools, and website management.

- A relationship-builder at heart, with a background in marketing [or community engagement], with a passion to create meaningful, individual connections in your work—ideally in the nonprofit or social impact space.
- Experienced in lifecycle, customer relationship management, or engagement marketing, and you prioritize trust and personal connection over mass communication.
- Familiar with working across diverse global audiences, adapting tone, language, and approach accordingly.

- A strong communicator with excellent writing skills and a knack for turning complex ideas into clear, accessible messages. You will be creating and editing content

Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in lifecycle marketing and customer engagement, where the focus is on strengthening existing customer relationships
- Has designed and delivered on an overall lifecycle marketing communications plan
- Proven ability to craft and deliver clear, engaging content across written and verbal formats, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences ranging from executives to external partners
- Proven track record of working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to align on a marketing communications strategy and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Prior responsibility analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and translating them into clear insights and recommendations
- Experience working in systems and tools for marketing, communications, and social media (e.g. Hubspot, LinkedIn)
- Demonstrated interest in social impact, including volunteer work

- Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Earn a salary of $196,000 with robust benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) + employer match, holidays, flexible PTO, wellness, and remote-work stipends. While Rippleworks has one global salary structure, the salary listed here reflects employees on US payroll. To keep total rewards equitable across countries, salaries may be adjusted if hiring in a country where employer-paid compulsory benefits are significantly more robust and costly than in the US.
