Job Description

We are looking for a Director, Sales, Contract & Territory Management to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead and oversee the Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, Territory sales managers, and Hybrid Market Growth Specialists with close alignment with Senior Managers, CT Operations. You will be required to be a strategic visionary who will drive the execution of innovative sales strategies, optimize revenue performance, and ensure the achievement of company sales objectives. You will work closely with executive leadership, manage cross-functional collaboration, and provide mentorship to the sales management team. You will also be instrumental in developing the company's long-term growth plans by monitoring market trends and competitor activities, as well as expanding key strategic partners and customer relationships.

As Director, Sales, Contract & Territory Management, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and Inspire Sales Teams: Oversee, mentor, and guide the contract sales managers, territory sales managers, and hybrid sales teams to achieve and exceed revenue goals and sales targets
  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute advanced sales strategies that foster business growth and market share expansion across contracted properties and territories
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify emerging business opportunities and adjust sales tactics accordingly
  • Client & Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and nurture relationships with high-value clients and key business stakeholders, ensuring a robust and loyal client base
  • Contract Negotiation and Closures: Lead and oversee the negotiation, structuring, and closing of complex sales contracts with significant impact on business outcomes
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and actionable insights to senior leadership to track performance and guide decision-making
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, product development) to ensure alignment in delivering seamless products/services to customers
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all sales practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient use of the sales team's time and efforts to maximize ROI
  • Mentorship & Development: Provide leadership and ongoing development to the sales manager team, ensuring professional growth and high performance across all teams and territories

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in senior-level sales management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading large teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
  • Ability to travel as needed

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience in large territory and contract sales management
  • Familiarity with the latest sales automation tools and CRM systems to enhance performance tracking and efficiency
