Key Responsibilities:Â
- Responsible for Technical Accounting, Consolidations & Reporting
- Lead the planning, coordination, and preparation of financial statements consolidation processÂ
- Oversee accounting activities related to corporate functions and holding entitiesÂ
- Execute quarterly and annual reporting process to support timely and accurate financial statements Â
- Advise and partner with business leaders on M&A activitiesÂ
- Review material contracts and evaluate accounting impact Â
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, FP&A, and other business partners on business initiatives and accounting impactÂ
- Advise business on how to construct agreements to achieve desired outcomeÂ
- Perform technical research on accounting topics, document positions within accounting memos, and advise business on treatmentÂ
- Advise respective accounting teams on new and/or complex accounting transactions Monitor development of new and emerging accounting pronouncementsÂ
- Assess impact of new accounting literature and lead implementation of accounting standardsÂ
- Create/revise global accounting policies and ensure process for consistent application across the companyÂ
- Partner with business unit controllers to ensure accounting policies are updated to reflect current business practices and compliance with GAAPÂ
- Develop/maintain relationships and work closely with external auditors, business leaders, and senior management to ensure communication of critical issues in a timely mannerÂ
- Lead audit process with external auditorsÂ
- Monitor/benchmark reporting and disclosure best practices and advise executive management on recommendations internallyÂ
- Identify and implement process improvementsÂ
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as neededÂ
Qualifications and Skillsets:Â Â
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceÂ
- CPA required, MBA a plusÂ
- 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years working in Big 4 accounting firm a plusÂ
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SEC filing requirements, financial reporting, and internal controlsÂ
- Ability to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate complex accounting and reporting issues to Finance and non-Finance personnelÂ
- Effective at building strong relationships across departments and at all levels with customer service focusÂ
- Ability to lead, influence, and drive change with key stakeholders and executivesÂ
- Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlinesÂ
- Possess agility and can adapt quickly to changing prioritiesÂ
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay range for this position is as follows:
$126,200-$180,300
